Sale Of Human Organs Pros And Cons

OpenOffice in radio Listen

OpenOffice for Kids is an initiative that came as part of the draft Education OpenOffice.org. It is a lighter version of OpenOffice.org and more appealing interface.

The main features of this version are:

- is dedicated to students between 7 and 12 years
- With specific adaptations to the world of education
- Multiplatform (Linux, Mac OS X, Windows)
- Multilingual

All project is for educational purposes, with the idea to contribute and bring it back to the OpenOffice.org project site

The OpenOffice children can download the version for the XO:

Download

INSTALLATION:
is better instlarlo from the Terminal activity, because a file is pretty "heavy."

- Download the file a PC. (105.1 MB)
- Unzip it (remember that a. Xo is a compressed file, therefore, can be decompressed using any decompressor).
- OOo4Kids.activity Copy to a flash drive (for example we'll call PENDRIVE)
- Place the stick and go to the Terminal activity.
- Run this command:

cp / media/PENDRIVE/OOo4Kids.activity Activities

- Restart Sugar by pressing CTRL-ALT_BORRAR to display the activity on the list. (CARE that is marked as a favorite)

OTHERWISE INSTALLATION: See the comment

Juan Ignacio, which explains how to lower the activity directly from the Internet using linux command, and another way to decompress, using another command called unzip.

XO URUGUAY'S NOTE: In some XO
can not run the application.
To solve this problem we must do this: Go to

terminal activity and running this command: chmod-R

$ 755 HOME/Activities/OOo4Kids.activity

Thus we are giving execute permissions to all files activity.

SAVING FILES:
As this program (as well as Scratch and others) is not made for Sugar, do not use the Journal, which complicates things when you save or open files.

If we want to save or open files on your flash drive, put the stick first and then execute the activity (not vice versa).

can also create a directory from the Terminal activity: for example create a directory called "files" file mkdir

and give all permissions to that directory: chmod 777

files and thus can use the Files directory to store our files there.
